Titi explains to “Al Ain Sports” the reality of mocking Brazil’s competitors in the World Cup
Brazil coach Tite responded to the accusation leveled at his team regarding the way he celebrated after scoring in the 2022 World Cup.
Brazil players and members of the coaching staff were criticized for dancing after every goal against South Korea in the 2022 World Cup final price.
And they met last Monday, in a match that was decided by the “Samba” team, with a wide victory 4-1, to set a date with Croatia in the quarter-finals.
In response to the “Al Ain Sports” correspondent, Titi said: “We make fun of the opponent when we dance in the stadium? I do not want to comment on statements from people who do not know our culture.”
“This is our usual way of celebrating in Brazil and everyone knows that very well,” he added.
He concluded, stressing, “We represent Brazil, we came here with our culture, and we do not mock anyone, but we rejoice in the way we love.”
The Brazilian national team will meet its Croatian counterpart on Friday evening, in the start of the quarter-final matches of the World Cup in Qatar.
