With a surprising statement.. Mortada Mansour sets the condition for resolving the Al-Ahly “Kahraba” crisis
Mortada Mansour, President of Zamalek, set a surprising condition for resolving the crisis of Mahmoud Abdel Moneim, “Kahraba”, the wing of the historical rival, Al-Ahly.
And the Court of Arbitration for Sports “Cass” upheld the decision of the International Federation of Football Associations to suspend Kahraba for a period of 6 months and fine him two million dollars, due to his departure from Zamalek in the summer of 2019 without the approval of his club management, despite the existence of a contract between the two parties.
Mortada Mansour, since the penalty was announced, refuses to pay the fine amount by installments to Kahraba, which threatens the player’s return to participate again, as non-payment of the fine means his continued suspension.
But surprisingly, Mortada Mansour announced in statements to his club’s TV channel that he might agree to pay the Kahraba fine by installments, and then return to play again, starting next January, but on one condition.
Mortada Mansour said: “If I were Kahraba, I would reveal the party that incited me to flee from Zamalek to Portugal and then return to Egypt from Al-Ahly Gate in January 2020.”
He added, “If you reveal the party that incited you to flee, we will agree to pay the amount in installments, and you will return to play.”
And he concluded: “If our relationship with Al-Ahly was good, we would have agreed to the amount of the fine in installments as well, because we deal with all clubs with respect.”
